Devi Mayi Ma is devoted, heart and soul, to reviving the celebration and reverence of the Divine Feminine upon our beloved Mother Earth — that sacred principle so long veiled beneath thousands of years of patriarchal mindset and forgetting. This Divine Feminine energy has nothing to do with being female, and it is in no way related to feminism. It belongs to no gender. It dwells within all living beings, waiting to be remembered — and you, Beloved, whoever you are, may awaken to it too. In service to all beings, Devi Mayi Ma has co-created several animal welfare projects abroad, including the ABC clinic for stray and feral cats and dogs at the Art of Living International Center, and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) feral cat projects in California. She also contributed to the original vision of the World Compassion Day (WCD) event in Mumbai, held in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The event was sponsored and organized by the National Media Foundation, a division of Pritish Nandy Communications, Ltd., in collaboration with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), Humane Society International (HSI), and the Foundation for Non-Violent Alternatives (FNVA), an institute for the development of peace studies.
On many sacred occasions she has offered her artwork to raise funds — to build a children’s school in India and to nourish other projects supporting women, underprivileged children, and the suffering animals she holds so tenderly in her heart.

Over the decades Devi Mayi Ma has spoken about animal welfare, love, spirituality, yoga, wellness, awakening, self-realization, raising consciousness, and many other universal subjects. She has appeared as a guest speaker on several local and international TV shows, such as on Earth Advocate and a documentary film on harp seals by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. She has also appeared several times as a special guest speaker on public TV talk show, ”Bridging Earth and Heaven”. Shree Devi Mayi Ma was also invited to speak on spirituality, animals, and the arts and also perform the opening night ceremony where she led the audience in a meditation at the National Animal Rights Conference in Washington,

Devi’s Grace is a non-profit charitable Trust in India, registered in Maharashtra in 2018 and lovingly stewarded by her beloved husband, Prashant. Through this seva, more than one hundred sacred cows have already been rescued — now nearly one hundred and fifty, including some of their beloved calves — and are cherished within a sanctuary (gaushala) devoted entirely to their care. There they are tended with reverence and dwell as happy, protected beings.
As conditions and grace allow, Devi Mayi Ma prays to open, over the coming decades, a number of free animal hospitals and sanctuaries for the suffering animals and youth of India, in the places where they are most needed — so that these sanctuaries, and the animals within them, may become living ambassadors of compassion and Ahimsa, non-violence toward all living beings. She plans on collaborating with several nonprofit animal welfare organizations.
Drawn from the depths of her own life, Devi Mayi Ma has come to see that the suffering of animals including homeless dogs and cats is too often left untouched in the charitable work and teachings of many spiritual masters. It is her heartfelt mission to raise consciousness upon this sacred subject — and to invite the youth and younger generations into the living practice of Karma and Bhakti yoga: caring for suffering beings through daily seva at the hospitals and sanctuaries, rescuing the homeless and forgotten, and awakening compassion within India and throughout the world.
Another cause held tenderly in her heart is the protection of the children of India and Nepal who have suffered the wounds of trafficking and extreme poverty — more on this sacred work will be shared soon.

As a first-phase initiative, Devi’s Grace charitable trust was established in 2018 by her beloved husband, Prashant Dilip Rathod, and her brother-in-law Prem Rathod in India on four acres of land located in Rui Talav in Yavatamal district in the state of Maharashtra. We have already rescued over 90 cows, and are projecting to add 20 acres to Devi’s Grace gaushala & sanctuary charitable trust over the years; this will help us to involve the younger generations in helping the suffering animals.
